Hey You!! I’m so glad you are here! Thank you for checking out my new blog! Lets get to know eachother! I would love to start by telling you a little about me! I’ll try to keep it short and sweet, because I can talk for days if you let me.

Here we go! My name is Nia Sanchez Booko, I live in LA with my amazing husband Daniel Booko, and we are soo in the honeymoon stage! I believe it can last forever! Why not?! We are so intentional about speaking each others love languages every day. Okay okay, enough about the love life. hehe and a bit more about my story.

I was Miss Nevada USA 2014 and won Miss USA 2014-2015 ( Yes, Donald Trump was my boss) When I won, they picked me up and moved me to NYC, I lived in a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in the middle of manhattan with a Central Park view and my roommate was Miss Universe! Being Miss USA really was a dream, I was in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, lobbied on Capitol Hill, traveled the world and US, as well as competed for Miss Universe and placed 1st runner up out of 90 countries! I feel so blessed to be given the honor of holding that title!

Something that most people wouldn’t expect of me, is that I am also a 4th degree black belt in TaeKwonDo. I have also trained in jujitsu, Muy Tai kickboxing, and teach self defense classes to women across the US. Within the last year I was flown to Korea and named the Goodwill Ambassador of TaeKwonDo at the World TaeKwonDo Federation in Seoul. As well as flown to NYC for United Nations week to meet to President of South Korea and be name a K patron! (its a long story, I can explain later)

I have a huge passion for travel. I’ve been all over the world and have so many other places I want to go! I travel for work, fun and mission trips! Oh and speaking of mission trips, my faith is also something so important to me. I attend Mosaic in Los Angeles, its a non denominational Christian church. My relationship with God is the most important thing in my life, and I know that all the blessings in my life have come from him!

Ahhhh look at that, all of a sudden I’ve written wayyy to much! Hehe. I’m so glad you are here and want this blog to be a fun experience for everyone that visits!
